Alumni: Be a Mentor
As a former student, you can give students the opportunity to see how their college training applies to actual job situations. As a volunteer mentor, you will talk to present students about your experience at Douglas College, as well as your current work. You are the link between Douglas College and the working world.
You can help students gain insight into how Douglas College graduates are applying their training in actual job situations. Students who are interested in contacting Alumni volunteers are provided with names and phone numbers to arrange an agreeable time and place for a telephone or personal meeting.
