My role model is: my mom. She's Deaf and raised my sister and I on her own and I admire her perseverance and self-sacrifice for her family.

The first thing I do every morning is: eat breakfast, the most important meal of the day!

When I hang out with my friends we: play guitar hero, go hiking, go out dancing

My must-visit web site is: Facebook... I know, I'm addicted.

The hardest thing about going to college was

committing not only to the time I was in class but also the time I needed to study and do my assignments, instead of spending time with my husband and my family.

The best thing about college was

meeting awesome new people, not only within my program, but in other programs as well.

Sign Language Interpretation is

an incredible field, you are always meeting new people, and interpreting new information. You never stop learning and growing and being challenged!

If I had to pick just one instructor I'd choose

David Still, he's an incredible interpreter and is so personable and easy to connect with.

The most important thing I learned in college is

that real life experience beats a classroom any day, but it's necessary to form a foundation before you can build a house.
