Education:
Music University Transfer Program, 1997

Currently:
A full time professional musician and music educator

About me:
I would like to open my own community music school that specializes in wind instruments.

When I hang out with my friends we like to find great places to go for a walk, have a nice meal, or check out the best live music. Anything we can do to spend quality time together.

The one thing I hate doing is taking time for myself but I do it because without a sound body and mind I cannot properly help the people around me.

The hardest thing about going to college

was finding the time to sleep with all of the excitement going on around me and knowing that it was eventually going to come to an end.

The best thing about college

was knowing that the time spent there was going to change the rest of my life. Some of my most cherished relationships and life lessons were from my college days.

I can't choose just one favourite teacher

because the majority of my music instructors were absolutely inspiring. Their passion, dedication, and enthusiasm for music and teaching encouraged me to achieve my musical goals.

The most important things I learned in college

  1. To plan ahead and to set practical and achievable goals.
  2.
  3. To question everything but that it is also important to be willing to learn from anyone and everyone around you.
  4.
  5. To always be nice to the people around you because those people could end up helping you the most in the future.

Working as a professional musician

I have learned that you cannot depend or rely on anyone but yourself. You have to be self-sufficient and you have to pursue your own passions because no one else will do it for you. Life is what you make of it.
