About me:

The first thing I do every morning is have a cup of hot chocolate and check my Facebook.

If someone gave me a million dollars tomorrow I'd spend it on shopping, travel around the world with my family and friends and donate a large amount to various medical research and other charitable organizations.

The hardest thing about college

Studying on the weekends but it's all worth it. Finding out that the cafeteria was sold out of chocolate chunk cookies and the Nescafe coffee machine not working sometimes.

The best thing about college

Making friends. It gave me a chance to meet different people and make some really good friends. A lot of us are still in touch and get together for a chat whenever we get a chance.

The craziest moment I had

We had a class get-together at the end of our program year and Laurie Kenward had arranged for a motivational speaker/physical instructor to come to that; she got everyone up on their feet and hands up in the air doing different stress relieving exercises and then she got us dancing on "We are family, I got all my sisters...". I had no idea my classmates and instructor possessed such unique dance moves. It was hilarious!

My favourite instructor

Laurie Kenward, HIM program coordinator, a very approachable and helpful instructor. She's always there for her students. She encouraged us to think "outside the box" with fun and interactive assignments. I enjoyed our many class discussions with her and our interesting digressions off topic.

The most important thing I learned

That finishing college is just the beginning of a whole new learning experience.

I was well prepared because

Everything that I had learned in the HIM program covered a lot of my job's aspects. There were no surprises about the job industry when I started work. I think the program is very well designed in that it meets the current demands of the HIM profession quite nicely.
