Academic advising
|
|
Whether you are a prospective, newly admitted or current student, Academic Advisors are here to help guide you through your Educational and Career Pathways! Connecting with an Advisor early in your college experience can be a major factor in your success. Staying in contact can help avoid serious difficulties later. Academic Advisors are not Career Counsellors therefore, students with undefined goals can seek help through Douglas College Career Counselling.
College Information sessions
Information sessions introduce you to the career and University Transfer programs and courses offered at Douglas College. New and prospective students are advised to attend an information session for their program of interest.
Sessions are free and pre-registration is not necessary.
Information sessions are provided for all students and are one to two hours in length. The dates, times and location of Information sessions are posted on the information sessions page online. Alternatively, information is available from the Registrar's Office by calling 604-527-5478.
