Registration Guide - Winter 2010
1. Tuition Payment Deadlines
There are three payment deadlines for Domestic Students:
December 7, 2009
Full fees must be paid to avoid being deregistered from all courses and removed from all waitlists.
December 17, 2009
Full fees are due and payable to avoid deregistration of all unpaid courses.
January 18, 2010
Full fees must be paid to avoid $50 Late Payment Penalty. Failure to pay fees will NOT result in deregistration.
Registration and activity holds and late payment penalties will be applied to all accounts that are outstanding on January 19, 2010.

November 30, 2009
Full fees must be paid to avoid being deregistered from all courses and removed from all waitlists.

Full fees must be paid to avoid being deregistered from all courses and removed from all waitlists added since December 1, 2009.
December 17, 2009
Full fees must be paid to avoid deregistration of all courses added since December 9, 2009.
January 18, 2010
Full fees must be paid to avoid $50 Late Payment Penalty. Failure to pay fees will NOT result in deregistration.
Registration and activity holds and late payment penalties will be applied to all accounts that are outstanding on January 19, 2010.
2. Refund Procedures
From November 12, 2009 to January 3, 2010 courses dropped will be refunded at 100%. Starting December 9, 2009 if all courses are dropped, there is a $100 processing charge.
3. Late Registration (January 4 to 17, 2010)
During Late Registration, you can add and drop courses without penalty as long as the total number of credits remains the same or increases. When more credits are dropped than added, these credits will be refunded at a rate of 43% per credit for all students. Please see the Refunds page for more detailed information.
4. Wait-list *** NEW PROCESS EFFECTIVE WINTER 2009***
Registration Offers will be sent at 1230 Monday to Saturday from November 12, 2009 to January 2, 2010. No offers are sent on Sundays. During late Registration Waitlist offers will be sent by faculty at 1230 Monday to Saturday from Monday, January 4 to Saturday, January 16, 2010. There have been significant changes to the waitlisting process please review the detailed waitlist information by clicking on the Waitlist tab on the left hand menu.
5. myDouglas
The Registrar's Office will be sending helpful registration and other College related information to students through myDouglas. Please check your myDouglas email account on a regular basis for these important notices.
