Faculty Groups & Mentoring

Faculty Development (FD) encourages collegial enviroments where faculty can learn from faculty. We currently offer four programs:

The Faculty Peer Mentoring program provides opportunities for new faculty to connect with faculty who have taught for several years. While the FD sponsored Reading Circle series offers faculty opportunities to discuss well-regarded books about the teaching profession.

To support faculty in the classroom, Instructional Skills Workshops provide practical skills in classroom presentation, effective teaching and learning.

The SoTL Research Cohort examines students' perceptions about engaged learning in the classroom.
