ENVS 1103 Introduction to Geographic Information Systems (3 credits)
This hands-on course teaches the basics of Geographic Information Systems (GIS). Students will examine components and functions of GIS, enter and store data, choose a coordinate system, digitize maps, create topology for spatial analysis, database query and analysis and design and create map outputs.
