Developmental Studies
Developmental Studies (DVST) offers a variety of courses designed to help adults upgrade their education and skills and prepare for entry to college-level courses and programs. DVST classes provide a supportive environment that encourages students to develop effective learning and study strategies.
Courses are offered in the areas of reading, writing, learning and study skills, and mathematics. Levels range from basic literacy and numeracy to college preparation. Class sizes are small to allow maximum interaction with instructors.
Some students may benefit from taking DVST courses and courses in other college disciplines at the same time.
