Psychiatric Nursing Refresher Certificate

This distance education program is designed to provide upgrading for psychiatric nurses to return to practice. It is also offered to Canadian and foreign-trained Graduate Psychiatric Nurses to meet educational requirements for eligibility to write Registration Examinations of the College of Registered Psychiatric Nurses of BC. Registration is ongoing anytime between September and May. This program is offered through Continuing Education.

Admission Requirements for the Refresher program include referral by the CRPNBC, or self-referral of applicants who are not eligible for CRPNBC licensure. A current CPR Level "C" Certificate is required before commencing the clinical portion of the program.
