Graduating Requirements

Courses

To maintain status in the Bachelor of Physical Education and Coaching, students must meet the following critria, monitored on an annual basis:

  1. maintain a GPA of 2.00*; and
  2. must register in a minimum of 24 credits F/T or 9 credits P/T annually; and
  3. Full-Time students must enroll in two Fieldwork courses per academic year or Part-Time students must enroll in one Fieldwork course per academic year*

* Students who fail a course, do not enroll in a fieldwork course, and maintain a GPA above 2.00 will be placed on academic probation by the SPSC department for 1 year. Failure of a subsequent course, OR, non-enrollment in a fieldwork course during the probationary period will result in removal from the Bachelor of Physical Education and Coaching program.
