    Health and Wellness Fair

    Health & Wellness Fair Wrap-Up

On Feb 2-3 the Centre for Campus Life put on the student-lead Health and Wellness Fair. More that 450 students and staff visited the fair and learned more about their own health and wellness, as well as the services available on-campus and in the community. The fair not only provided education for participants, but also served as a positive experience for the 20 students who planned and organized the event. The Student Wellness & Awareness Team (SWAT), formed in September, was happy to see their first major campus event turn out a success. Also crucial in the planning effort were a group of Therapeutic Recreation students who took on the project as a component of their leadership course. From the positive feedback and excitement generated from this event, keep an eye out for more of the same from this dynamic group of students.
