It's official. We have created 2 Media Development Rooms, one at New Westminster (room 3144) and the other at David Lam (room B1250) for employees and students to use. Each room has three video/audio stations for video editing and podcasting and a graphics station with graphic software for scanning and printing.
To use the rooms, you must be a current employee or student and you must have valid Douglas College identification.
How do you book the Media Development Room?
To book a video editing or graphics station in the room, go to CEIT room 3100 at the New Westminster Campus or room B1251 at the David Lam Campus and sign up on the calendar located in the office foyer.
Note, you may book a station up to a 4-hour time block. If you do not arrive within the first 15 minutes of your start time, your station may be given to another user.
Hours of Operation
The Media Development Rooms are available during CEIT operating hours, Monday to Friday from 8:30am to 4:30pm. Outside these hours, you may access a media station by showing a valid employee or student ID card to Security. Security will provide access to the room.
