novell_logo Douglas College uses a network system to provide file and print services to the College community. Novell is the product software CEIT uses to carry out those services. 
Each time you turn on your computer, you will see the Novell login window on the screen. To log on to the network, you require a username and password to log into the network.


How do you get a Novell account?

As a new employee at the College, you do not need to apply for a Novell account. Human Resources initiates all Novell account requests for new employees, and CEIT creates and the accounts. New account information is generally emailed to an Adminstrative Officer, hiring supervisor, or a department alternate who will then email it to the new employee.

How to login into the Novell Network

To connect to the network do the following:

1. Turn on your computer.
2. Type your username and password in the appropriate fields.
3. Click OK.
