Although Elmo is a brand name for a visual presenter, its name has come to represent all visual presenters. A visual presenter provides the platform for moving your two dimensional and three dimensional support materials through to the classroom's LCD projector.
|
|
Here's some highlights:
- Display 3 dimensional objects, documents, books and overhead transparencies
- Capture still images to SD memory card or PC through a USB cable. Save as JPEG files.
- Use the annotate tool to draw lines, shapes on captured images
- Record video and audio - 30 frames per second saved as AVI files
- Rotate camera head to shoot large images in room
- Use the microscopic viewing mode to see fine details on objects
- Capture demonstrations with time-lapse photography
Visual presenters are scheduled to replace Overhead Projectors in Douglas College classrooms. Use the Room Technology List to find out if an visual presenter has been installed in your classroom.
