Student ID Cards

Student ID Cards are available in New Westminster, Room 3100 or David Lam, Room B1250 between 8:30AM and 4:30PM, Monday through Friday. ID Cards are also available from Room 6218 between 5:30PM and 8:00PM, Monday through Friday at the New Westminster Campus. Important: Student ID Cards are available to students registered for classes in the current semester (Summer semester). For more information about ID Cards, please call 604.527.5662 or 604.777.6126. Your student identification card is your official Douglas College picture identification. Student identification cards are produced by CEIT for Douglas College students registered in courses for the current semester. Students are advised to carry their ID cards with them while on campus. When will you need to show your student card?
Returning StudentsReturning students are advised to bring their cards to the library for semester decals. Not registered in the current semester? You will not receive a decal. Students receive decals only for semester they are registered in. Douglas College library cardYour student ID card is also your library card. It provides you access to Douglas College library privileges, including off-campus access to the library's databases. Discount on transit faresStudents who are registered in a minimum of 9 credits in the current semester qualify for a FastTrax transit sticker. The FastTrax sticker must be attached to a valid student ID card, and must be presented with a one-zone monthly FareCard when requested by transit personnel while boarding a transit vehicle. With the FastTrax sticker, students may travel throughout the transit system on an adult one-zone monthly FareCard without having to purchase additional fare. It is advisable for students to acquire the FastTrax sticker in the Fall semester or when they are most likely to be enrolled in a minimum of 9 credits during the academic school year. FastTrax transit stickers are available at the Library at either campus, and at New Westminster in Room 3100 or at David Lam in Room B1250. Discount for underground parkingYou may be asked by the parking attendant to show your student ID card in order to receive underground parking at 50% off the regular rates. Lost your student card?If you lost your student card, you can get a new card in room 3100 at New Westminster or room B1250 at David Lam. There is a nominal fee for a replacement card. |
