Skilled business professionals are in demand - and the data backs it up. Work Futures, the BC government's major career inventory, reports jobs in the business service sector are projected to grow much faster than average (projecting to 2008). Rapid technological change drives much of the hiring, with Work Futures also reporting that salaries in this sector remain much higher than average in BC. Completing your Diploma or university transfer courses in business hones your analytical skills and broadens your knowledge base. Your studies at Douglas College can also open the door to a bachelor's degree and other studies including MBAs, law, economics and more.

Douglas College offers many business programs with an applied focus. Office Administration programs can get you working within your specialty in nine months.
