Delivery of  Materials to Distance Students

  • Check the library catalogue to determine if a book, video, or journal title is available at Douglas College Library. Once you have found what you need, submit a book, dvd or article request.

  • Books must either be returned or renewed after you have had them for two weeks. To renew online, go to the library catalogue and click on "View Your Record".

  • The Library does not loan complete issues of journals but will fax or mail photocopies of journal articles which you may keep.

  • Only two videos may be borrowed at a time, and must be renewed or returned within three days.

  • You may also borrow books and journal articles from other libraries through interlibrary loan. 
  • Unless other arrangements are made, delivery of all materials will be by Canada Post Priority Post courier, insured (we pay). We ask that you return materials by Canada Post Priority Post courier, insured (you pay).
