All Library materials are due by the last day of the semester. If you'd like to keep your items over the semester break, please bring them all back to the library so we can update your library record and re-issue your books.

- Your name and contact information
- Title and date of the video
- Distributor of the video, including contact information
- Date when you want to preview the title
* Please ensure that the video has public
performance rights !

Through the Library's interlibrary loan service, students and employees may borrow books and periodical articles from university, college and selected public and special libraries in British Columbia and across Canada. Materials are generally delivered to your campus within 8-14 days. To request a book or article from another library, please fill out an online
interlibrary loan form.
Periodical databases on the Electronic Library Network provide a service called GODOT that allows you to request your interlibrary loan directly from the lending library while in the database. If using this option, only articles that are not available in our collection may be requested.
Some video titles may also be available on interlibrary loan through the Media Exchange Cooperative . Call Theresa at local 5186 for more information.
Books, articles and other readings that are assigned for specific courses may be placed on reserve by instructors for short loan periods e.g. 2 hours, 24 hours, 3 days or 4 days. Materials in the library as well as personal copies of books and other course-related material are accepted.
Please allow five working days to process submitted reserves. Request forms are available at the Circulation Desk or
available online .
Videos may also be placed on reserve, provided they have
public performance rights . You can find out this information by performing a search for the video in question in the
library catalogue . If there is a message in the local note field near the bottom that says "Limited Public Performance License Applies", then you can be sure that there are public performance rights. If the note only has one entry saying "Home Use Only" then the item doesn't have public performance rights and may not be placed on reserve.
Faculty (either individually or in groups) may request a customized session with a librarian to review various aspects of academic research. Please contact
Patti Romanko at local 5183 to arrange a mutually convenient time.
