Library notices by text message include items you requested that are ready for pickup, items you borrowed that are due to be returned etc.
You'll start receiving brief text messages, in addition to your regular myDouglas emails, within two days after you submit your mobile phone information. Rest assured, your phone number will be used for library purposes only.
The length of the notice depends on your phone model and mobile operator and should be no more than 1-2 text messages.
While there is no charge from the library for this service, you may see a charge for incoming text messages at the standard rate applied by your mobile phone carrier, depending on your plan or package.
