Welcome to the homepage for the Office for New Students!

The Office for New Students exists to act as a contact point for you, the new student! We are here to reach out to prospective students, and to help the newest members of our community make a successful transition into what is often called "college life." We are here to walk with you through the startup process and on to your educational, personal, and professional goals. If you have any questions or if we can help in any manner, please do not hesitate to contact us!

At Douglas College you can expect to find excellent instructors who focus on teaching, personal interaction that won't leave you feeling like a number, and an amazing mix of programs and opportunities to learn!

Whether you are a current high school student, or someone coming back to school after a break, we are looking forward to meeting you this academic year! We have a number of activities planned throughout the semester for you to participate in so look for opportunities to get involved, engaged, and active in student life!

The ONS would like to congratulate Melody McKiernan on the arrival of her son! Melody will be on leave until October 2010 and filling her very large shoes will be Zebeen Panju who comes to us with much experience and exertise.
