New Student Orientation

Welcome to the Douglas College New Student Orientation!
Congratulations on deciding to make Douglas College your college! We know how difficult it is to start something new, to not know anyone, and to feel a little scared. We want to make sure that starting at Douglas College is nothing like that.
What is New Student Orientation, you ask?

New Student Orientation is designed specially for the newest members of the Douglas College community.

It is an all-day event filled with fun and informative programs that will help you on your path to success.
Why should you participate in New Student Orientation? For starters, you will:

Get the opportunity to connect with other new students, and experienced student leaders.

Have a chance to meet with faculty and staff at the college, who are there to help you succeed.

Get to explore the campus and learn about its different services that can assist you throughout the year.

Be eligible to win some great prizes -- including free tuition!

Get all of this and more -- for FREE!
What else do you get out of Orientation?
You will be one of the first to:

Buy your texbooks.

Get your student ID card.

Pick up your U-Pass.

Buy your parking pass.
You get all of this, and a free lunch! What more could you ask for?

Well then, come and join us at the Late Summer Orientation in August! All you have to do is decide on which date to attend, and we'll do the rest! Please note that LSO registration closes 24-hours prior to the start of each event. If you did not get a chance to register, you can sign up in person at the event -- just look for the black Registration tent.
