IMPORTANT MESSAGE: On-line registration for the New Student Orientation on Saturday, August 25th at the New Westminster Campus is now closed. There will be late registrations available on-site, and we encourage you to attend.

What is New Student Orientation?

New Student Orientation (NSO) is a fun, informative event for new students like you! We want to make your transition to college as smooth as possible because let's face it, there are challenges to starting in a completely new environment. NSO is a great way to find out about the range of resources offered to you here at Douglas College. We look forward to having you join us!

How to register for NSO?
It's simple. All you need to do is fill-out the on-line registration form, just click on the mask.
Please note that NSO registration closes 24-hours prior to the start of each event. If you did not register in advance, you can sign up in person at the NSO Registration tent.
Once you have registered, you will receive an email confirming your registration. We will send you a reminder 48 hours prior to the event with more details and a "packing list" of what to bring.
Important Details
NSO is a full day event. Students are discouraged from attending for a portion of the event and will not have access to all the services.
The NSO schedule is subject to change without notice, so please check back often. Please read the Frequently Asked Questions for additional information about Orientation. (coming soon!)
This year's NSO theme is "Mardi Gras". If you want to join in on the fun and spirit of Mardi Gras, wear purple, green or yellow...we dare you! There are prizes to be given away to those wearing the colours!
