Best Practical Joke:A friend andIkidnapped a manakin head from our Grade 11 English teacher. She calledit her MacBeth head, and it was one of her prized possessions. We held the head ransom forone month, and sent her a Shakespearean poem every few days describing the head's adventures, along with apicture.Ransom picture locations includeda BDSM shop in vancouver (we put the head in a bondage mask in the window with other manakin heads in similar getups)and a street corner on West hastings (we wrapped the head's collar in an old shirt, and put a hat on the ground next to it with some coins.

Favourite Thing About Douglas College: I love that there is never a shortage of new people to meet or talk to. Almost every time I go to the school I find myself introduced, or I introduce myself, to someone I havn't met.

Favourite Thing About Douglas College: I like the small class sizes. I feel out of place in extremely large classes, so the 30-50 people in my current classes allows me to thrive in my learning environment.

Favourite Thing About Douglas College: Douglas College is a great community college and really does have a good sense of a family atmosphere. Everyone seems to know each other, instructors are approachable, class sizes are small, and the services are very good.

Favourite Thing About Douglas College: I love the people. The layout of the school and the small class sizes makes it much more easy to meet others. I went to a larger university last year, and found that it was much harder to meet others.

Favourite Thing About Douglas College: The enormous stairs in the concourse are pretty fantastic. The small class sizes are great. All of the faculty I've met are very involved and really make an effort to make themselves available to help students individually. I'm also pretty excited that the college offers belly dancing classes!
