You're active. So get an active career! Training in the Bachelor of Physical Education (BPEC) program at Douglas College will give you the practical knowledge and skills you need for a great career teaching Physical Education, working as a coach or in many other areas. 

Program Highlights

  • Choose from two streams - Elementary (K-7) or Secondary (grades 8-12)
  • Prior Learning Recognition for students with prior coaching and rec experience
  • 30 hours of for-credit fieldwork experience per year

 

Cost

Tuition rates for the four-year degree are approximately $10,000 ($2500/year), not including texts or student fees. Rates are subject to change, so check current costs.

Location

New Westminster Campus (numerous 1st and 2nd year courses also offered at Coquitlam Campus), steps from the New West SkyTrain station.

Fieldwork

The Bachelor of Physical Education and Coaching program offers students practical PE teaching and classroom experience through a fieldwork program.
