With the Behavioural Intervention Training Partnership.

The role of the Behavioural Interventionist (BI) is to assist families in the implementation of behavioural intervention programs for children diagnosed with an Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). The goal of this course is to provide an introduction to the key concepts and skills related to the effective implementation of intensive behavioural intervention. There are many different approaches to behavioural intervention and this course will focus on a range of empirically supported approaches. Detailed information and training on a particular approach should be provided to you by the families and qualified service providers with whom you will come in contact. The information provided throughout this course is to start your journey in developing the necessary skills to support children diagnosed with an ASD.
