Associate of Arts Degree

Associate of Arts Degree

We now offer an Associate of Arts Degree in Forensic Studies. This program is designed for students who are interested in a career in forensics, or who want to earn credits towards further university study in criminology. Students will take the core criminology courses, as well as other required courses from areas such as computing, philosophy and sociology. This particular associate degree will also allow students to transfer into the British Columbia Institute of Technology (BCIT)'s Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) in Forensic Investigation with one of four options: Forensic Science, Computer Crime Studies, Economic Crime Studies and Crime and Intelligence Analysis.

Some institutions accept Associate Degree graduates with lower GPAs than other applicants, helping you meet rising university-entrance requirements. In addition, all major BC universities (including SFU and UBC) guarantee a full transfer of all 60 credits for your Associate Degree.
