Dental Clinic Preventative Services
High-quality dental services are available at an affordable price at the Douglas College Dental Clinic. The clinic accepts patients between the ages of four and 25.
Dentists and instructors work as a team with Douglas College Dental Assisting students to provide Dental Exams, Tooth Polishing, Fluoride Treatments, Radiographs and limited Scaling. This is a preventive services clinic only. Services are not available for patients in pain or who require restorative services.
In most BC dental offices these services cost:

| Radiograph (x-rays) | $12 |
| Scaling (15 minutes) | $27 |
At the Douglas College Dental Clinic these services are offered at a reduced rate:
| Exam by a dentist | $20 total as prescribed by the screening dentist |

Appointment scheduling begins in November
- Screening exam appointments are available in November and April.
- Prescribed treatment appointments are in January and May.
