Courses

The Dental Assisting Program starts in September. During the 10-month program, you'll develop all of the technical and interpersonal skills you need to succeed as a certified dental assistant.

You'll learn about x-rays, anatomy and dental hygiene. There's a strong emphasis on patient safety, attention to detail and showing initiative. Courses also cover administrative skills and preventative dental health care.

See the program details and course descriptions in the Douglas College Calendar.
