Licensing

Douglas College's program is fully accredited by the Commission on Dental Accreditation of Canada and recognized by the College of Dental Surgeons of BC.

In order to obtain a license to practice as a Certified Dental Assistant (Level II), you must apply to the College of Dental Surgeons of BC.

To get a license, you must also have:

• Grade 12 or equivalent
• Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation Basic Rescuer Level C
