Linda is a senior faculty in the ECE program and is our specialist in Infant/ Toddler Care. She is our most experienced practicum instructor and especially enjoys supporting students in demonstrating their skills in caring for and educating young children.

Christine is our expert in our Special Needs program and is a leader of this field in BC. She is also the Executive Director of a large social service and child care agency in the Lower Mainland.
Susan Swanson, ECE instructor

Susan Swanson joined the ECE faculty in 1999 as a regular half-time instructor after several semesters as contract faculty. Her M.Ed is from UBC, her teaching diploma from McGill University and her Early Childhood Certificate from Langara College. Susan's experience includes classroom teaching and 13 years as supervisor in a parent participation pre-school. She has been instructing in Early Childhood programs since the mid-80's at a variety of teaching institutions (Burnaby Community Education, University of B.C., University College of the Fraser Valley). Her special interests include emergent curriculum principles, child abuse prevention and the many facets of individual differences.
