Douglas College Economics courses teach you to think like an economist. It's about theory, but more importantly it's about how to apply the theory to real world situations.

Courses also cover the principles of macroeconomics - examining at the economy on a grand scale - and microeconomics - analyzing the day-to-day economic decisions of individuals and companies.

Courses are open to students who are not enrolled in Faculty of Commerce and Business Administration programs, but you must have the required prerequisites as outlined in the Douglas College Calendar.

All Douglas College economics courses transfer to BC's major universities.

See the program details and course descriptions in the Douglas College Calendar.

Computer labs are available for students to complete assignments.
