TESL Citation
Scheduled to begin in the Summer Semester of 2010, the TESL Citation is designed for local and international learners who wish to gain an overview of basic approaches to teaching English as a Second or Foreign Language. The program is comprised of courses in teaching adult learners reading, writing, listening and speaking, pronunciation, grammar and sentence structure, multicultural issues, assessment, planning and evaluation. In addition, the program offers a 3-credit, supervised practicum. The courses and practicum all lead to a Douglas College Citation of 15 credits.
