ESL Immersion Programs

Closed enrolment immersion programs offer language development, course materials and field trips focused on the specific needs of institutions or businesses. Inquiries from interested educational institutions and businesses are welcomed.

July/August - Open Enrolment or Bursary

The Explore Program (formerly the Summer Language Bursary Program) brings international and community students together with Quebec bursary students for a five-week program that runs this July/August. This program is open to everyone and international students are welcome to join. Individual applicants unable to obtain a bursary from Quebec are encouraged to apply. We will reserve a space for you.

August - Open Enrolment Program

The Summer English Language Institute is a four-week program, in August. Students who will continue on into academic ESL courses at Douglas College are encouraged to attend. The program focuses on reading, listening and speaking skills, BC history and the cultural diversity of British Columbia.
