Open Labs

• Would you like a great place to work on your labs or other coursework?
• Would you like to get together with other geography students?
• Could you use some help in understanding something covered in class or lab?

If you answered "yes" to any of these questions, then the Open Labs are for you! The "open lab" concept allows geography students to use the labs at any time during posted hours. Come in for a great place to work on labs or other coursework!

What is available in the labs?

Supplemental Course Material
The labs are equipped with additional textbooks, atlases, maps, stereoscopes, air photos, weather software, minerals and rocks, to help you to obtain the most from your courses.

Computers
Both labs are equipped with PCs, scanners and laser printers for all your computing and online needs. Nine additional computers are available at David Lam in room B2210 when classes are not in session.

Assistance
Whether you need clarification of course material or assistance with your labs or research, help is available during posted lab hours. If you are interested in going further in geography, come on in and chat about various course and program options here and at our local universities, and find out what you can do with a degree in geography!
