The HCSW program gives you real-life skills required in home, mental health, assisted living, long-term care facilities and other care-giving settings. Health Authorities and care-site operators acknowledge today's workers need a wide range of knowledge that includes both physical and mental health care skills.

The updated Health Care Assistant Certificate program offers full program hours and learning objectives as suggested in the provincial curriculum. Your practicum will take place at quality clinical sites, and will include both Home Support and Assisted Living experience.
