Tourism - it's the largest and fastest-growing industry in the world - and it's one of the largest employers in Canada and BC.
In Canada, over one out of every 10 workers is employed in the tourist sector - that's about 1.7 million people.
BC's tourist industry currently employs about 220,000 people. Provincial government studies project that figure will climb to 300,000-330,000 jobs in the coming years, largely driven by interest and activities connected with the 2010 Winter Olympic Games in Vancouver-Whistler.
The Hospitality Management Program offers great ways for you to start your career. You'll gain valuable industry contacts while participating in special events and projects.
