Christina
has been a faculty member at Douglas for 4 years and has taught at Kwantlen and
the University of Canberra in Australia.
She has worked in communications and marketing strategy for over 15
years including stints in government, telecommunications and the non-profit
sector, including being an executive board member for an international health
promotion service. Christina has
specialized in career ready training for at-risk youth and the long term
unemployed and been a community volunteer and sustainability advocate all her
life.
In addition to teaching Christina enjoys being the Faculty Advisor to the Douglas College Business Association student group. Christina is proud of her role in implementing and promoting the new Disney International Internship Program for Douglas business students.
Christina is a well travelled knowledge worker with international work experience in Australia, New Zealand, and the United Kingdom. She is a Canadian, Australian and Irish citizen passionate about her teaching, mentoring and networking role with the marketing department at Douglas.
