Japanese

If you're interested in learning the basics of Japanese or would like to build upon your previous knowledge, Douglas College is a great place to start. We offer Japanese courses for everyone from beginner to intermediate speakers. Starting at the beginner's level, you'll develop and improve each of the four language skills (speaking, listening, reading, and writing) and also explore Japanese culture.

Assessment

If you have little or no knowledge of Japanese you may register for the Introductory course MODL 1171 without assessment.

All other students taking a Japanese course for the first time at Douglas College should contact the instructor prior to registration to determine the appopriate level:
