Courses
The program content, developed in consultation with nursing practitioners, theorists, professional associations and various government ministries, educates you to become effective and well-rounded health care practitioners. It includes arts and sciences courses that complement nursing theory and practice courses. As well as learning how to take care of others, you'll also learn to take care of yourself with courses that focus on wellness and self-reflection.
You'll learn in an innovative educational environment, combining small group interactions and computer-assisted instruction/support. Critical thinking, creativity and compassionate nursing care are emphasized in as part of the learning process. Every semester, supervised clinical experiences in a variety of health care settings will help you apply what you have been learning. Excellent computer resources and state-of-the-art nursing practice laboratories will help you to develop your competencies.
