Diploma Program

Diploma ProgramSince 1991, the Print Futures mix of applied and academic writing has prepared graduates to meet today's writing needs and to welcome tomorrow's challenges.

We know that professional writing isn't just about writing. That's why our diploma program focuses on writing, but includes courses in communication theory, interpersonal and research skills, editing, design, and online communication. The program also includes four professional readiness courses and a mandatory work-experience component.

Our graduates are writing generalists who understand how good research, editing, and design can strengthen the appeal and effectiveness of written work.

Our faculty -- working professional writers, researchers, editors, and designers -- practise what they teach. And our advisory committee members make sure we know about emerging issues and trends for professional writers. They help keep our curriculum relevant and effective.

Print Futures offers an unmatched transformational learning experience. Find out more about our program in the college calendar and about individual courses in the online curriculum guidelines.
