Studies in Sport Science and Coaching can prepare you for positions as a teacher, recreational leader or sport facilities manager, trainer, community-club coach, physical therapist, and many other specialties. According to Work Futures' projections to 2008, the job-growth rate in the coaching-recreation field will be faster than the average rate for all occupations, including opportunities for self-employed businesses. (Work Futures is a major career-projection project of Human Resources Development Canada and BC's Ministry of Advanced Education).
