If you want a dynamic career in the entertainment industry, and have some fine arts or technical experience, the Stagecraft and Event Technology (SET) program may be the program you're looking for. This intensive, two-year diploma program is designed to provide a combination of academic and practical experience with courses and training in: Stage Lighting, Audio Techniques, Set Painting, Set Design, Computer Assisted Drafting, Stage Management, Stagecraft for Film/TV and History of Theatre.
The SET Program requires commitment from its students. People who excel in Stagecraft thrive on long hours, deadlines, and intensive hands-on work. In return, you are immersed in a dynamic, fast-paced, professional environment, with exposure to production pressures equal to those in the entertainment industry today.

This program starts in September (full- and part-time) and January (part-time only) of each year.
Cost
Tuition fees for this 60-credit diploma are approximately $5300 (total). Textbooks, supplies and student fees are extra. Costs are subject to change, so check the College Calendar for up-to-date tuition information.
Applying
The application deadline is August 1 for the September start date and December 1 for the January start date. Seats are limited, so apply early! It is strongly recommended that you attend an information session prior to applying.
