Passionate about acting? Get the skills to be a stage actor or work in performing arts in the Douglas College Theatre program.
In this program, you'll gain knowledge about yourself, learn how to communicate and work as part of an ensemble - skills that are greatly in demand in every workplace - and gain confidence in your own abilities.
This intensive, full-time two-year program is designed to provide you with professional training and education in speech, movement, acting, acting for film and theatre history. You'll work closely with students in the Stagecraft and Event Technology program to mount several fully-produced shows throughout the year.

Classes start in September of each year.
Tuition costs for this 60-credit diploma are approximately $5300. Textbooks, supplies and student fees are extra. Costs are subject to change, so check the College Calendar for up-to-date tuition information.
The application deadline is April 1, 2014 for the September 2014 start date. Audition dates:
April 22, 23, 24 and May 27 and 28.

It is strongly recommended that you attend an information session prior to applying. Applicants must demonstrate a high degree of proficiency in the English language (comprehension, writing, and speaking).
