Bullying in the workplace
Bullying is unacceptable behaviour, it affects workers and the College as an organization.
A handbook produced by the Ontario Safety Association as well as information posted on the UK National Workplace Bullying Advice website provide practical suggestions for employers, supervisors and workers to play a role in reducing bullying in the workplace. Please review these resources to learn to recognize the signs of bullying and why it happens, find tools to assist anyone impacted by bullying and to understand the role each of us can have in recognizing and preventing bullying.
If you feel you are being bullied and don't know what to do please call a Douglas College Harassment Advisor at 604-527-5574.
