Team Co-op is proud to introduce a second year Business Management student, Jamie Kaminski. Jamie is energetic, friendly, and a highly motivated individual who was interested in becoming a Financial Services Representative. His dream came true when he succeeded in obtaining an eight-month placement in January 2003 at Royal Bank as a Personal Financial Services Representative.
"I would like to thank Douglas College and RBC for giving me such a wonderful opportunity. This opportunity has helped me demonstrate every ounce of knowledge and every minute skill and ability that I have learned in my lifetime through school and life experiences. I have discovered that the skills, knowledge and abilities, which I possess, are more powerful than I thought and are a continuous asset in helping me excel in every aspect of life. Douglas College has been excellent by supplying me with the means to prove myself to a large corporation such as RBC. This Co-op work experience has supplied me with a wealth of experience that I would have never learned in school," said Jamie.
His outstanding work performance has been recognized and rewarded. RBC has offered Jamie a part-time position in September after his work term is completed. Jamie is looking forward to another challenging and rewarding work term at Royal Bank this summer. He has several ambitious plans for the company and is eager to put them into practice.
Jamie is fluent in French and has a good comprehension in Spanish. He received the Most Sportsmanlike Rugby Player award in 1998 and the Most Inspirational by Example Football Player award in 1995 by his high school.
