My undergraduate education was in Economics and Business from the University of Zambia. I came to Canada as an International student to do an MBA. I graduated with an MBA in Marketing from SFU at the young age of 22. For some years I worked in the Retail sector in Management positions before moving into teaching full-time. Prior to joining Douglas College in 2000, I taught at SFU, BCIT and Nicola Valley Institute of Technology (NVIT). I have authored resource materials in the field of Selling and given several Marketing seminars to business practitioners in the Lower Mainland. In my leisure time I enjoy traveling and experiencing other cultures, I have traveled to 26 countries so far.

I find my job to be very rewarding because it enables me to help young people achieve their career goals. It is in this regard that I believe CO-OP should be a part of every student's educational experience. A solid education coupled with good work experience is a sure way to open doors to wonderful and exciting career opportunities for all students.
