How to cash Grants and Loans

To cash Grants and Loans, please follow these steps:

Step 1 Photo ID is required to cash your Certificate of Eligibility:
You will need to bring two forms of ID:
 - Government issued photo ID (driver's license, B.C. Id card, Canadian passport, Canadian Permanent  Resident ID card or Canadian citizenship card.)
 - Social Insurance Number card OR a copy of your Canada Revenue Agency Notice of Assessment.
Step 2   Confirmation of Enrolment:
Review the Educational Institution Section of your Certificate of Eligibility.  If it says "Confirmed by School" or "Certified by school", go to Step 3.
Step 3    Banking information:
Include a void cheque or have your financial institution (example: your bank or your credit union) complete the Electronic Funds Transfer section.  Your funding will be deposited into your bank account using this information.
Step 4 Take your Certificate of Eligiblity to a designated Canada Post outlet:
- Visit www.canlearn.ca for a list of designated locations; OR,
- A printed list of locally designated Canada Post outlets is available at the Financial Aid Offices.

Your financial assistance will be sent by direct deposit to your bank account after the Certicate of Eligibility has been processed.

Some (or all) of your funding may be sent directly to your school to pay for your educational costs.
