2010 Business Challenge For Youth (BCY)
Are you a Business or Hotel & Restaurant Management student? Do you want the chance to learn about business operations in China? Consider participating in the Business Challenge for Youth (BCY) program in China this summer!
As part of the program, you'll visit businesses in Hong Kong and Guangzhou, and you can also elect to visit Beijing. Costs for the 11-day trip, including transportation, meals and accomodation, are $1,298. You can also choose to participate in a 17-day trip, which costs $3,180.
Eligibility
In order to be eligible for the program, you must:
- be between 17-22 years old
- be currently enrolled or have completed courses in the Faculty of Commerce and Business Administration at Douglas
- have a GPA of 3.0 or higher
Ability to speak Chinese is not required.
Selection is on a first-come, first-serve basis and space is limited - so register today! You must register before Tuesday, April 27.

Information session
There will be an information session for registered students on Tuesday, April 27 at 10 am, Room 5220, New Westminster Campus. In attendence will be Dr. Paul Lau, the first Canadian Consulate General in Guangzhou. Please join us to find out more about this fantastic opportunity!
