If you’re in a field school program, Douglas College International will usually direct you to book a specific flight to ensure you arrive with your classmates as a group.
We will try to book the most affordable flight meeting the requirements of the field school; however, you will need to book your own flight if you are involved in exchanges or a work study program.
You can find information and book flights directly through the airlines, travel agents, or on-line travel web sites. If you or your family has travel points, consider using these to lower the cost of your flight.
If you are participating on a field trip your accommodation is normally included in your program fee. Students on exchange and work/study can expect to receive assistance from the institution or workplace abroad to arrange local accommodations.
