Ask a Quick Question

In addition to meeting with a tutor, there are other ways to receive academic help outside of the classroom.

Stop by the Learning Centre

During our open hours, we often have time between sessions to answer a quick question. If your question is more involved, we can help you set up an appointment with a tutor or find a resource to answer it.

Ask an Online Tutor

Our online tutors are happy to provide information and links to resources. Use the Ask a Tutor service to ask one of our online peer tutors a general question about grammar, writing, computers or study skills.

Ask a Librarian

Librarians are available to answer your research and citation questions by email, chat, text and appointment.

Talk to Your Instructor

Your instructor will usually provide his or her preferred contact methods for questions at the beginning of the semester, whether it be chatting before or after class, during posted office hours and/or by email (the Purdue Online Writing Lab provides helpful tips about email etiquette for students).
